The pound advanced as U.K. service sector activity growth increased sharply in March. The Markit/Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply Purchasing Managers’ Index rose to 57.1 in March from 52.6 in February. Economists had expected the indicator to stagnate at 52.6 in March.

setuju dgn om FxMaster, tapi kalo bisa EU up dulu ke 1.4320 spy koreksinya bisa sampai ketarget 1.39an….
yup, bisa saja eu kembali up dulu ke 1.4320 bahkan lebih tergantung nanti malam reaksi pasar amerika dan efek berita juga, namun psikologi saya mengatakan eu bulan ini akan turun ke level 1.3900-3700, saya sendiri udah sell sejak hari senin pagi di 1.4254 TP1 1.3820 TP2 1.3648
mau tanya om master, kalo op sell untuk jangka waktu lebih dari 1 hari ga kena swap fee? atau op apa aja yg dikenakan swap? saya blum mengerti, baru belajar forex. thanks

FAKTOR MENGAPA EURO TURUN HARI INI :
The euro has been extending its decline against the dollar and the pound in European trading on Tuesday as Moody’s Investors Service downgraded Portugal’s long-term government bond ratings by one notch to Baa1 from A3.
But the euro has leveled off against the rest of majors after falling in late Asian deals.
Moody’s Investors Service downgraded Portugal’s long-term government bond ratings by one notch to Baa1 from A3. That was the second rating cut in less than a month. Concurrently, the rating agency placed the government’s Prime-2 short-term debt rating on review for possible downgrade.
The rating action was driven primarily by increased political, budgetary and economic uncertainty, which increase the risk that the government will be unable to achieve the ambitious deficit reduction targets set out in the update of its Stability and Growth Programme for 2011-2014 and put its finances on a sustainable trajectory, Moody’s said.
Meanwhile, the eurozone retail sales declined unexpectedly by 0.1 percent in February from the previous month, data from Eurostat showed today. The consensus forecast called for an increase of 0.1 percent after rising 0.2 percent in January.
Year-on-year, the retail sales volume edged up 0.1 percent in February, smaller than the 0.4 percent increase seen in January. Economists had expected the annual growth rate to accelerate to 0.6 percent in February.
With the euro zone’s manufacturing sector remaining buoyant last month and inflationary pressures accelerating, investors speculate that the ECB is likely to implement a 25 basis-point increase in its main rate on Thursday.
The euro reached a 12-day low of 0.8731 against the pound around 5:00 am ET and the pair moved sideways thereafter. The euro-pound pair is presently worth 0.8740, down from 0.8817 hit late New York Monday. If the euro weakens further, 0.8660 is seen as the next likely target level.
